Stamp Paper for individuals in Karnataka

Many of us know how cumbersome and harresing an experiance is getting a stamp paper from the SBI counter is. Most of them act as if they own the world when issueing one. They have many excuse for not issueing us a stamp paper

1) No Rs 100/50/20 sheets available
2) counter opens only after 10
3) counter closes exactly at 1
2) if u want Rs 1000 stamp paper get multiples of Rs.100

But with now get stamp papers from http://www.shcil.com find the nearest branch using branch locater. All the above excuses are not provided at the shcil counter and they are more polite too

Filing your ITR electronically at income tax website

The format for submitting your income taxes thru the income tax website has changed slightly this year. last two year you submittied your ITR(ITR-1 usually) forms online and the website generated ITR-V forms of which you needed to take a print out and go to their offices to get it stamped, now the changes are as follows( data from the income tax website https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in ): on successful uploading of e-Return, the ITR-V Form would be generated which needs to be printed by the tax payers. This is an acknowledgement cum verification form. The tax payer has to fill-up the verification part and verify the same. A duly verified ITR-V form should be mailed to “ Income Tax Department – CPC, Post Bag No - 1, Electronic City Post Office, Bangalore - 560100, Karnataka, ” BY ORDINARY POST ONLY within 30 days after the date of transmitting the data electronically.
